Button Clinic handles car button and interior panel restoration enquiries in Cork, Ireland. For questions about your information or to withdraw an enquiry, contact joaofsant10@gmail.com. Include your enquiry reference if you have one.
Information you send
We collect your name, email, car make and model, the part you describe, location, enquiry type, any timeframe and notes, and photos you choose to upload. Please avoid including people, number plates, addresses or other unnecessary personal information in photos.
Why we use it
We use your information to assess your part, prepare and send your requested quote, and follow up about its scope, price, timing and arrangements. This is based on our legitimate interests in responding to requested enquiries. You can ask us to stop following up. Submitting does not subscribe you to a general marketing newsletter.
If the page address contains campaign labels, those labels are saved with your enquiry to help us understand where enquiries came from. We do not save Google click IDs in the enquiry database. Labels alone do not identify all advertising traffic.
Where enquiries and photos go
Enquiry details are held in the website’s managed database, and photos in its private object storage, provided through Sites using Cloudflare D1 and R2. The enquiry and photo attachments are also sent to Button Clinic by email using Resend and received in a Gmail mailbox. Enquiry photos are not published in the website gallery.
These providers process information to operate their services. Processing may involve countries outside the European Economic Area under the providers’ applicable transfer arrangements. Contact us if you need more information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry records, photos and related emails for as long as needed to respond, manage the requested follow-up and resolve related issues. Retention depends on whether the enquiry remains active, whether you ask to withdraw it and applicable obligations. Removal is managed by Button Clinic; it is not triggered automatically by a website deployment.
Optional advertising measurement
If Google Ads measurement is enabled, it loads only after you choose “Accept measurement”. It can use advertising cookies, cookie identifiers, IP address and information about the page and a successful enquiry to measure advert performance. We do not send form names, emails, notes or photos to Google Ads, and do not enable personalised advertising or enhanced conversions.
You can reject optional measurement and still use the form. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the homepage to change your choice. A preference is stored on your device for up to 180 days. Google advertising cookies can have their own lifetimes; see Google’s cookie information. Rejecting stops new enquiry conversion events and removes accessible first-party advertising cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google.
Security and your rights
The site processes technical information to serve requests and prevent abuse, including an IP-derived daily hash used to limit repeated submissions. Enquiry records and uploads are not publicly accessible. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to object to or restrict use of your information. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
